Audrey Hendel
PSYCHOLOGICAL COUNSELOR & SHAMANIC PRACTITIONER
My name is Audrey Hendel. I was born in the south of France and have been living in Germany for more than fifteen years. I came here for love, and in this country I have found not only my second home but also my true calling. After ten years of studying philosophy, communication, and psychology in France, I continued my education in Germany with additional training in psychopathology and various psychotherapeutic approaches. My experience working in psychiatric clinics with both children and adults has given me deep insight into the practical side of psychotherapy. During this time, I felt a growing desire to offer a complementary form of emotional and psychological support. As a certified psychological counselor and licensed practitioner for psychotherapy (“Heilpraktikerin für Psychotherapie”), I combine therapeutic dialogue with gentle and holistic methods. I have found my professional home in two main areas: humanistic psychology and shamanism. At the same time, I remain open to new paths, to everything that proves helpful, touches my heart, and serves my patients.
I am deeply grateful for my profession and would not trade it for anything in the world. Every person is unique, every life story special, and every encounter carries its own kind of magic. I am thankful for each person who places their trust in me, shares their pain or fears, and walks with me on the path toward greater joy, awareness, and inner peace. If you ever feel exhausted, sad, or misunderstood, don’t stay alone. There is always hope, and there is always a way forward. As Audrey Hepburn beautifully said:„Nothing is impossible. The word itself says: I’m possible.„
Every time we give an act of tenderness, affection, love, every time we enlighten someone, we modify a little bit the future of humanity in the right way.Christophe André

Code of ethics and rules
- Do good, always. With kindness, humanism, patience, respect, compassion, tenderness, and unconditional love. In serving others, I cultivate joyful effort and self-giving. I act in accordance with the legal framework, human rights and for the good of all beings.
- I act with awareness and a sense of responsibility towards the clients and their community.
- I don’t call myself “shaman” or “healer”. I’m a shamanic practitioner.
- I don’t use the words “cure” and “treat”. I don’t provide prognoses or any promises of salvation.
- Shamanic sessions do not replace classical medicine. I make sure that the patient consults a doctor in addition or contacts emergency services. Shamanic sessions do not hinder or delay the work of the doctors in any way.
- I’m sure that the client consents. Distance sessions requires clear and explicit consent from the client. Ideally the person is present, aware, audible, and visible in front of the camera and the internet connection supports live sharing. Parents gives consent if their child is not of speaking age.
- Even in case of a large-scale disaster, such as war, natural catastrophe, pandemic, etc., collective distance healing (for a community, group, region, or other large spatial area) is not allowed. Shamanic assistance should be provided on an individual level only.
- I have the duty to postpone or refuse a session, in case of clear emergency if the patient is categorically refusing to contact a doctor or the police.
- I have the right and the duty to refuse treatment if I feel incompetent for the case or if I’m embarrassed by the request.
- I behave with humility, and I do not give my opinion of medical prescriptions.
- I do not prescribe, give advice, or make publicity for any kind of medication, alternative medicine, diet, fasting or any kind of cure or substance.
- I talk as little as possible about my religion or spiritual background.
- I don’t use the time of the session for advertising or giving advice about products, books, workshops, documentaries, etc.
- I encourage and prefer solutions that provide the most freedom and autonomy for the clients.
- I teach shamanism for positive use, as a peaceful empowering force in the world.
